I stare at the sky with the shapeless clouds
They change and move with the wind at their back
Some shaped like letters some like animals
Such simple things make me feel so many emotions
Happiness sadness and a mixture of more
An emotional rollercoaster; this is the tour
Welcome to my mind this is a theme park
Feel the highs and lows as the journey begins
You feel so high like the air thins
Harder to breathe, easier to smile,
The ride ends as quickly as it started.
The nervousness remains in the pit of your heels
The butterflies of a person you admire
Rip apart your stomach like bubbles in a soda
Gently ticklish but escalates quickly
Until you’re surrounded and grounded
In your own head
Forming the words is like speaking in tongues
One sight will take the breath from your lungs
That’s just my advice, here’s my first warning, beware of it twice
If it happens once, it will happen again
Let your heart be free, don’t care about the when
Move forward and the rest will follow
I promise soon your heart will not be so hollow
