If tragedy must follow the two of us
Between every breath we take as one, Let Tragedy trail us in tandem,
Always looming, but left to linger… Watch as I fall for you, my single truth,
Time
after time
Again then
again.
Consume me in parts and whole,
Like the fool I’ll choose to be.
If what they say is true (inevitably so) Then I shall follow you, dearest one,
As faithfully as that lonesome sorrow does In every (and all) mortal vessels I possess;
Let Tragedy witness this fatal devotion With time, it too may yearn in hush, Forlorn
for us;
For once
In all of its eternity,
falling for a dream.
